I was convicted of this today when chatting to my daughter-in-law and she mentioned that she had been really stressed last week and thought that my son had been very restrained in his response to her prickliness. It was a very encouraging comment for me to hear and made me think that my son had made a very wise choice in his partner. When we are feeling that life is tough it is good to realise that this affects those around us.

I'm generally easy going but every now and then I get uptight about life, and my poor husband experiences the side effects of this more than anyone else.

Praise God for his willingness to challenge me in my 'stroppiness' as it has helped draw me back to dependence on God time and time again

HeatherAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276278342039529509.post-55115106595963384512008-10-22T16:21:00.000+11:002008-10-22T16:21:00.000+11:00I also have 2 close friends that always build up m...I also have 2 close friends that always build up my husband and my marriage, they are so precious aren't they!
I was really humbled by Caralyn's comment that we can allow our genuine 'hurts' or disappointments to quickly lead to bitterness. I am so guilty of that.Sarah Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15650669087432035159noreply@blogger.com
