although we can't protect you from everything.
You're surrounded by people who love you,
watch over you,
play with you,
teach you,
take you by the hand,
and show you the world.
It's not always easy to keep up.
You're used to being the centre of attention,
and, perhaps, to getting your own way.
But one day, it's time to break out on your own,
try new things,
grow a little older,
and swim in a bigger sea.
